We offer play-based, nature guided, age-appropriate learning. Our curriculum includes nature-based art, earth skills, lunar-cycle gardening, seed saving, herbal medicine making, cooking, nature trekking, movement, singing, games and more. We incorporate Waldorf-based philosophy and songs in our daily routine, as well as learning ABC’s and numbers in creative and playful age-appropriate ways. We spend much of our time learning social skills in a loving, supportive environment where the little ones explore and learn about their feelings, other’s feelings, and how to communicate and get along with one another. We are strong supporters of the re-villaging movement, and so far, have been successfully creating a multi-age classroom where youth volunteers, ranging in age from 8-12, have come to be support, fun and inspiration for the little ones.

General Program Information
Muddy Toes is located on our 12 -acre homestead in Williams, OR where we have fields, forest, pond creek and garden habitats to explore
Hours of Operation are Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00-1:00. This is an outdoors program, we take seasonal breaks in the Winter months, and during the month of August which is most often smoky here. For a full updated schedule for Summer/Fall 2024 please contact us
Ages 2.5-5 Welcome. We are open to discussing care for younger children. If you are needing care for a younger child, please call and we can discuss the possibility and see if it could be a good fit.
Tuition Rates are as follows
3 days/week= $375 ($29/day or $7.25/hour) This includes a $25 supply fee that goes to snacks and art supplies
***I aim to keep my tuition rates affordable to make childcare possible for working families. I am open to donations of supplies and snacks if your family is feeling abundant and would like to contribute more in other ways. Thank You!!***
